FKuR Polymers exhibited at the Fakuma 2015 in Friedrichshafen

FKuR Polymers took part as exhibitor during the Fakuma 2015 in Friedrichshafen to publicly present the product portfolio focussing on the modification of polyolefins and thermoplastic elastomers.

Christian Dohmen, Managing Director of FKuR Polymers GmbH says: „A large number of visitors came to our booth to discuss about their requirements and demands in tailor-made compounds. With our customized solutions FKuR Polymers wants to to stand out from competition.“

FKuR Polymers was able to present a excerpt of products made from our compounds to the public. Dr. Günther Horzetzky, State Secretary from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, visited our booth to information himself about innovations and new ideas coming from North Rhine-Westphalia.

FKuR Polymers plans to expand the portfolio to include medical compounds based on PE and PP for end products that do not remain in the body permanently was also presented during the fair and found an interested customers base.
The production facility in Willich is intended to be certificated to EN 13485, with a focus on traceability and documentation in production in order to ensure a high purity of the medical compounds.

Presenting the extended portfolio of customized specialties during the fair together with standard compounds and distributing of specialty plastics enables FKuR Polymers to offer one-stop solutions to the customers.
“In all cases we see it as our obvious duty to provide support to our customers’ projects – from technical advice in the development phase to commercialization of their specialties.” states Dohmen.
